First off, I really think that this episode was big gamble. Looking at the cast list and what seems to be developing with resurrecting Jai, it appears he might be back. So now, not having him in this episode and perhaps more, was definately something of a gamble in my eyes. Luckily, the other characters have the ability to make it like you don't even notice, mainly because of how well they were developed back in Season 1.
Meanwhile, I LOVE how Sonja is going to be a regular in this season. As you know, she was my favorite guest character of Season 1, and on top of that, she is the most developed of the Brotherhood that we've seen. Plus, you need a vampire to be a regular with all the normal people every now and then...
Now... what about Sara. I feel like she is a bit ahead of herself. She did the one mission and nearly died, and thinks that she can do it all the time now. Look where that has gotten her now! Now she is the vessel for this Ahriman thing-thing and god knows what is gonna happen with that next!
Carson definately has something up her sleeve at this point. I think she wants Ethan out now... or something weird.
Kendall getting too attached to his work is something I think will come into play more majorly in the near future. If Jai is resurrected, I can't wait to see Kendall's reaction, more so the even Mia and Sonja.
I was just thinking as well, that I hope Anton wil step up to a more major player this season, then last, because last season and even in this first episode, he is the one that helps and can be trusted, etc. I want to see some people follow him for a change (excluding that journey through the worm poop in Season 1 ).
