The DSR - Episode 2x12 - Prism

Don't get me wrong, this was an awesome episode, but this is one of those that I feel was a waste of time on terms of the story needing to be told. The simple thing is, it didn't.

To me, this episode was only good because you could see a bit of Anton once again, after his death, even though we barely even see him.

But then came the fact that you think this is all real. I'm getting towards the end and realizing, what is the point of this? This isn't even about The DSR team at all. Maybe this is just one of those guilty pleasure episodes. Turns out, it was pretty much a dream sequence, somthing Travers was imagining, or maybe even something the dead Anton was doing.

On terms of writing, and how the episode it was, it was good, but the fact it wasn't a reality took that away, along with the part that The DSR story could be told without this (Unless of course this plays into something along the line somehow...).

On top of this, the episode was hard to follow in some places, mainly at the end when Travers was in the killers home.

So, like I said, I enjoyed it, but I'm not the type of person who likes these episodes. 2x10 was fine because it was at least about a main character. This episode appeared to be more about Cole (a guest star) then the only lead featured in the episode (Anton).

There have been two of these types of 'it didn't really happen' episodes so far this season. Hopefully we won't have many more...
