The Family Spell - Episode 1x01 - As I'm Leaving

This has the potential to be one of the best virtual series around.

The idea itself is a solid one. Personally, I'm not a fan of Charmed, but I know that the Charmedverse has the ability to go pretty much anywhere on the lines of witches and the supernatural.

This episode was a perfect example. We immediately start out with this family of witches, two odd men out with Michael not having powers, and Johnny not been told about them yet. We discover that the family has to move because of all Michael's new job, as well as a build up of all the demons and such they've rid their home of.

The rift this causes is a great one, with the kids talking out of line and their parents taking a little punch to the gut on terms of respect from their kids.

Then comes Johnny finding out that his family is a bunch of witches, running away, getting telekinesis, and overall finding a new light to his life, while also bonding with his family.

Then the end. They defeat the big old demon build-up, and then drive off into the distance, the perfect end to a new chapter in life.

It was great, well-written, and the series itself can already be known to be a thought out piece of work that you just can't put down in the middle of the script. Its just that great.
