Probably one of the most pointless shows in history, Mr. Thorpe And His Family keeps the laughs going over and over again. It just doesn't stop, and this constant laughter keeps you reading from start to finish, just to see how the characters get out of a stupid situation.
With a Family Guy ring on things, Mr. Thorpe And His Family features those insane, crazy antcis, along with those flashbacks that you can live without, but don't really want to.
The season finale was a good one. It gave a cliffhanger, unlike most comedies, but it was that left so many possiblities on terms of a resolution because of the type of show that it is.
Don't get me wrong on this one. This is a pointless show from the mental mind of Matthew Latham, but the show itself is a keeper and is by no means a waste of your time. Well, maybe it is, but you'll have one hell of a fun waste of time.
